Here are just some resources that I’ve found useful over the years. Most of these were recommended to me by colleagues, mentors, books, and random sources on the Internet. Thanks to all who previously made me aware of these resources!

General

• Marketing for Scientists Book - this website also has links to extra articles that accompany each chapter.

Writing

• Elements of Style by Strunk & White - the classic. still useful!
• The Writing Workshop by Sarnecka - I found the first few chapters on this book, on developing a writing practice, particularly useful. This website also has templates for the spreadsheets she describes in the book.

Conferences

• How to Attend a Conference by Sivers - discusses music conferences in particular, but useful for all types.
